Israeli Army Kills Family Members of Hamas Political Leader

Palestinian authorities reported that in the last 24 hours the Zionist entity carried out a series of air strikes in several areas of the Gaza Strip, leaving some dead and injured.

At least 10 members of the family of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh, including his sister, were killed in an Israeli attack early this morning at their family residence in the Shati refugee camp in northern Gaza City, confirmed this Tuesday Palestinian sources.

At least 40 Gazans were killed on Tuesday in several Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, mostly targeting schools for displaced persons, which also killed at least 10 relatives of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh, including his sister Zahr Haniyeh.

«During the last 48 hours, the Israeli occupation attacked four shelters and eleven inhabited homes, causing the martyrdom of dozens of citizens displaced in these centers and houses and hundreds of injured», the rescue teams of the Gazan Civil Defense denounced today.

At least 16 people, mostly children and women, were killed and dozens were injured during shelling of two UN Refugee Agency shelter schools in Near Orienete (Unrwa) in the Al-Shati and Al-Daraj neighbourhood in Gaza City.

In the Khan Yunis, Maghazy and Al-Shati camps, and in southern Gaza, dozens of people were killed and injured.

On the other hand, Civil Defence teams announced that they managed to rescue several dead and wounded at the Asmaa school, which serves as a shelter for displaced persons in western Gaza and was bombed by the Israeli army.

In addition, at the Abdel Farrah Hamoud school in the Jaffa area of central Gaza, the emergency service was able to recover the bodies of six civilians, and in the Shujaiyah area, to the east of the city, the bodies of two murdered women and several wounded could be moved.

During the night, a young man was killed and others were wounded in a shelling of the Tel al-Sultan refugee camp in southern Gaza.

Meanwhile, media reported that an Israeli plane attacked several civilians near Al-Shifa hospital in western Gaza, killing five, including two children, and injuring several.
